Later, she acted in the drama "The Other Love" (1947) with Barbara Stanwyck, "The Web" (1947) and "13 Lead Soldiers" (1948). She also appeared in "Strictly Dishonorable" (1951) with Ezio Pinza and the Doris Day musical comedy "By the Light of the Silvery Moon" (1953). Later in her career, Palmer acted on "The Young Marrieds" (ABC, 1964-66).
